Dan's top quarterback Week 13 fantasy pickups (2025). The best QB fantasy waiver wire pickups to add and Week 13 QB streamers for 1QB, 2QB, and Superflex leagues.
Week 12 was once again difficult for quarterbacks in fantasy. Jameis Winston (32.2 points) and Jalen Hurts (30.8) provided high-end fantasy performances. But only four other quarterbacks (Dak Prescott, Matthew Stafford, Cam Ward, and Caleb Williams) managed to score more than 20 fantasy points.
Week 13 is a welcome reprieve from bye weeks, but there are still reasons to be active on the waiver wire. Streaming the right quarterback can be a much-needed source of fantasy points heading into the playoffs, and we know there will be four more teams on bye in Week 14.
In this article, I will focus on players under 65% rostered in fantasy leagues while adding a couple of deep sleepers for two-quarterback leagues (less than 25% rostered). Let’s look at who you consider picking up for Week 13 below. All roster percentages will be from Yahoo fantasy leagues.

Single-QB Waiver Wire Pickups and Stashes
Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals- 61% rostered
The Arizona Cardinals have no problem airing the ball out with Jacoby Brissett under center. Brissett has at least 30 pass attempts in each of his six starts this season. He’s attempted at least 44 passes in three straight games (and in four of six starts) with 106 passes the last two weeks combined.

The otherworldly volume has allowed Brissett to have back-to-back games with at least 300 passing yards. He’s also thrown for three touchdowns and two interceptions during that time.
Brissett has at least 18.0 fantasy points in every start this season, with three 20+ point efforts. There is also a chance he gets Marvin Harrison Jr. (illness) back in the passing attack next week.
The Cardinals have an easier matchup in Week 13 (Tampa Bay) before facing off against the Rams and Texans in Weeks 14 and 15. Brissett is also appealing in the later rounds of the fantasy playoffs with matchups against Atlanta in Week 16 and Cincinnati in Week 17.
Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars- 49% rostered
Trevor Lawrence is frustratingly inconsistent for fantasy football, but he is emerging from his toughest stretch of the season and into a softer schedule for fantasy.
Since the Week 8 bye, Jacksonville has faced off against the Raiders, Texans, Chargers, and Cardinals. Three of those teams are among the 10 toughest matchups for fantasy quarterbacks. Lawrence scored at least 15.0 fantasy points in three of four games while throwing for five touchdowns and six interceptions.
However, what really stood out (and gave him a floor for fantasy) was his increased ability as a rusher. Lawrence has four straight games with at least five rushing attempts. He’s hit at least 20 rushing yards in three of those four games with three total rushing touchdowns.
Lawrence has matchups against the Titans, Colts, and Jets over the next three weeks. Only the Jets would qualify as a below-average opponent, but it is still a three-game stretch where Lawrence can regain fantasy relevance.
Two-QB Waiver Wire Pickups and Stashes
Cameron Ward, Tennessee Titans- 7% rostered
Week 12 was the first time that Ward looked like he could have some juice for fantasy football this season. Ward completed 28 of 42 passes for 256 yards and a touchdown while adding six carries for 37 yards and a touchdown. He had a season-high 23.9 fantasy points as well. It was especially impressive considering the tough match against the Seattle Seahawks.

Ward has now thrown for at least 250 yards and a touchdown in three of his last five games. He also has a three-game streak without an interception after throwing at least one per game in Weeks 3 to 8. Ward also has back-to-back games with 30+ rushing yards, which have helped him post his two highest scoring weeks in his two games since the team’s Week 10 bye.
The rookie quarterback has streaming upside in two of his next three matchups. Ward gets games against the Jaguars (Week 13) and 49ers (Week 15). Unfortunately, he will not have much upside in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns.
Still, if Ward can maintain his newfound rushing ability, he will be a usable quarterback down the stretch for fantasy managers.
Kirk Cousins, Atlanta Falcons- 9% rostered
Week 12 was Kirk Cousins’ best game of the season (low bar, I know). Cousins completed 16 of 23 passes for 199 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in a 24-10 win over the Saints. His 16.4 fantasy points weren’t great, but it was also more than anybody expected with Drake London (knee) sidelined with an injury.
There is no guarantee that London will be back in Week 13, but that may not matter much with a matchup against the New York Jets on the horizon. New York had a solid week against the Ravens’ struggling pass game in Week 12, but it has still given up at least 27 points in three straight games before that.
Cousins may not be what he once was, but he showed in Week 12 that he has the capability to take advantage of poor defenses against the Saints.
Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints- 10% rostered
Tyler Shough’s time as a starter has featured plenty of highs and lows this season. Shough had his best game of the season heading into the Saints’ Week 11 bye (282 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions), but followed it up with a dud in Week 12 against the Falcons (243 yards and an interception).
Shough has seemingly gotten more comfortable as a rusher at the NFL level, logging at least four attempts in back-to-back games. He set season-highs in both attempts (seven) and rushing yards (22) against Atlanta.
The rookie has excellent matchups in both Week 13 (against Miami) and Week 14 (against Tampa Bay). Neither defense offers much resistance through the air, giving Shough an opportunity to stack strong fantasy performances heading into the playoffs.
