Week 6 NFL DFS Cheat Sheet: Expert Picks and Lineups (Premium Content)

All other Premium Tools can be accessed on the premium dashboard.

Welcome to Week 6 of the NFL Season! Each week, I'll be bringing you our famous NFL DFS Cheat Sheet with expert research and picks for cash games and GPPs. Here are a few notes about the sheet.

  • I will now be using data exclusively from 2022!
  • The "fantasy points allowed rank" reflects how a player's opponent ranked in fantasy points allowed to their specific position. The lower the number, the better the matchup.
  • DVOA is a stat created by Football Outsiders that stands for Defense-adjusted Value Over Average and takes into account the quality of the previous offensive opponents. This rating is being shown for both the offensive player's team and their opponent.
  • A play labeled "cash" is a higher-owned play that is recommended for cash games. A "strong" play is playable in all formats. "Slate-breakers" are some of my favorite GPP targets for upside or reduced ownership.
  • Vegas and risk columns will all be updated during the week to reflect injury info, weather info, and the most recent Vegas info.

Cash Game Cores

DraftKings: Stevenson-Lockett-Benjamin

FanDuel: Benjamin-Stevenson-Diggs

I'm locked in on both backs for cash this week with Jeff Wilson Jr. being the third cash back if you need one. Lockett's price on DK is just plain stupid and he's going to be heavy chalk that I want to eat. Lockett is not cheap on FanDuel and so I am prioritizing Stefon Diggs over there as my top receiver. You're going to have to get kind of creative with value to fit the best spots and paying down at QB is probably the way to go, even if Josh Allen looks like he could score a million points.

UPDATE: With two Arizona running backs out, we have to elevate Eno Benjamin into the core this week on both sites. He's too cheap for his usage and this game environment. I still love Fournette, but locking Eno + Rhambo in cash is a must.

Deeper GPP Flyers

This is where I want to give you some other players who will be in my player pool, who didn't make the cut for the cheat sheet. The main recommended plays are always going to be geared more toward cash games and single-entry tournaments, but here are some lower-owned options for large-field tournaments.

QB: Lamar Jackson, Kirk Cousins

I'm not a Lamar guy and fading him the last two weeks has paid off as he's been sub-optimal at his price after he went nuclear in weeks 2 and 3. But this game against the Giants is a spot he could go off again, and I am considering grabbing a few shares in case.

Cousins was very close to making the main sheet. I really like the Miami-Minnesota game for GPPs, it has a high total and two pretty good offenses going up against below-average defenses. Stacking Cousins with Jefferson and/or Thielen is a solid GPP approach, I don't think we steal Dalvin Cook steal all the TDs again.

RB: Raheem Mostert, Devin Singletary, Eno Benjamin, Jerick McKinnon

I don't play Dolphins running backs much, but it appears Mostert is starting to win this job and he's cheap. Singletary is playing in the big game of the week and will be one of the lower-owned Buffalo options, so he's a bit of a pivot.

Benjamin may actually end up a great value play if James Conner ends up sitting out, he has some nice receiving chops, and that Seattle-Arizona game is by far one of my favorites. Does anyone else feel like McKinnon is just better than CEH? If the game script dictates that KC pass the ball a ton, then I like McKinnon on DK with full PPR scoring.

LATE ADDITION: Darrell Henderson Jr. - it looks like Cam Akers is going to be out and therefore Henderson could end up being the lead back for the Rams who are heavy favorites at home against Carolina.

WR: Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel, Christian Kirk, Adam Thielen, Gabe Davis

Evans has to be in consideration if we love the Tampa passing game and the Steelers might be missing some secondary guys this week. I have more faith in Wilson for cash, but Deebo is too cheap for his upside and should be a solid tournament play. Kirk hasn't done much lately but had two TDs against Indy in the first match-up and I like going there with him as a way of being different at WR.

I keep waiting for a big Thielen game and telling myself it's going to happen eventually. His price keeps going down and he's still getting opportunities. I love that game. Gabe Davis doesn't catch many balls, but the balls he does catch are usually high-value deep targets. We all remember what he did to the Chiefs last year in the playoffs.

TE: Evan Engram, Irv Smith Jr., Hayden Hurst

Hurst has been coming on for Cincinnati but also has a Q tag, so make sure you check his status. Smith and Engram are punt plays with some upside in good match-ups. Both guys are super athletic TEs who are match-up nightmares for linebackers.

DEF: We are staying under 3k on DK again this week! CAR, BUF, NO, JAX

Week 6 DFS Slate Notes

***Saturday Updates***

I updated the core to include Eno Benjamin for cash, he is now projecting as the highest-owned player on the slate.

Darrell Henderson is also projecting well with Cam Akers out, and I would add him to the player pool, but he is much less of a priority for me. I'd prefer Benjamin or Kenneth Walker III from the Seattle-Arizona game over Hendo, even though I like Hendo as a player.

Julio Jones is doubtful for Tampa, but the rest of the receivers are ready to go, including Chris Godwin and Russell Gage. Fire at will on those guys in a great match-up.

The Saints have listed both Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas out. Chris Olave is questionable, but went through all the concussion protocols and should hopefully play Sunday, but we won't know until tomorrow likely. If he plays, I am using him.

Rashod Bateman is out for Baltimore, leaving Devin Duvernay as the WR1 this week for Lamar Jackson. In that same game, the Giants have ruled out Kadarius Toney and Kenny Golladay, but Wan'Dale Robinson is expected to make his debut. He's a dirt cheap GPP dart if you want one.

FAVORITE GAME STACKS:

SEA-ARI: Geno/Kyler-Metcalf/Lockett-Moore/Ertz/Brown-ENO BENJAMIN

BUF-KC: Allen-Diggs/Singletary/Davis-McKinnon or CEH

MIN-MIA: Cousins-Jefferson/Thielen-Hill/Waddle
