The PGA TOUR heads to Charlotte, North Carolina, this week for the Truist Championship. Hosted at Quail Hollow Club, this event features a 72-player field with no cut.

In an article released on Monday, I broke down everything you need to know about the Truist Championship, from course details to key stats and historical trends. If you have not checked that out yet, I highly recommend giving it a read. As always, if you have questions about any players or the event itself, feel free to reach out to me on social media or in Discord.

With that said, let’s dive into this Signature event as I break down my betting card for the 2026 Truist Championship!

Outright Selections

Xander Schauffele (+1150) - DraftKings

Xander Schauffele leads off my card this week, and it’s easy to see why. After a slow start to the season, he’s completely flipped the switch, posting six top 20 finishes in his last seven starts. Since his third-place finish at THE PLAYERS, he’s continued to stack results with a T4 at the Valspar Championship, a T9 at the Masters, and a T12 at the RBC Heritage.

His history at Quail Hollow only adds to the case. He’s finished runner-up here in back-to-back years when this event was held at the course, along with a T14 in 2021. He also finished T28 at the PGA Championship last year. This is clearly a layout that fits his eye.

Xander has played well at comparable venues this season, including a T7 at Riviera Country Club and a T24 at Bay Hill.

From a statistical standpoint, Schauffele remains one of the most well-rounded players in the field. Over the last 24 rounds, he ranks 2nd in SG: Approach and 1st in scrambling, which is critical at a demanding course like Quail Hollow. He’s also 3rd in bogey avoidance, a key metric on a track where limiting mistakes is crucial.

His ball striking continues to be elite, and while his short game has been slightly inconsistent recently, it hasn’t impacted his results. On top of that, he’s gained strokes putting in all but one event this season and has historically putted well at this venue. Everything points to another strong week.
