DraftKings and FanDuel decided to have two different start times for their slates tonight, because why not? We will have an emphasis on both slates tonight, focusing on an array of plays to help cover whatever site you prefer to play at, or, if you're like me, both.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/7/2026, with the slate starting at 6:40 p.m. ET on DraftKings and 7:05 p.m. ET on FanDuel. DraftKings, FanDuel - MLB DFS Top Pitcher
Cam Schlittler, SP - NYY ($8.5K DK/$9.9K FD)
Cam Schlittler on a slate full of elite aces, but is by far my favorite play tonight. He has been incredible to start the season, posting a 1.58 xFIP, 39.5% K%, 16.9% SwStr%, 0.26 WHIP, and 0.00 HR/9. In 2025, he pitched to a 3.77 xFIP, 27.6% K%, 11.1% SwStr%, and a 1.22 WHIP.
Schlittler is an ace, and there is no going around that. He now gets the best matchup in 2026 for strikeouts in elite pitching conditions. The Athletics have a 29.8% K% and a .691 OPS against RHP this season.

There is massive strikeout upside in this spot, and with chilly temps in New York tonight, it should help the ball stay in the yard.
DraftKings, FanDuel - MLB DFS Top Stack
Houston Astros (Model Projected IRT (Implied Run Total)- 5.6) vs. Kyle Freeland
I chose to fade the Astros last night in Coors because of the matchup with Ryan Feltner and his splits against LHH. Tonight, it is the complete opposite, and I will be all over the Astros because of the splits with Freeland against RHH.
In two starts this season, Freeland has pitched to a 4.60 xFIP, 1.39 WHIP, and a 37.9% Hard Hit%. The Astros have crushed LHP to start the season. They have a .864 OPS and a 146 wRC+ against southpaws in 2026.
The intriguing thing here is the matchup with Freeland's splits as mentioned above. RHH slashed .300/.342/.479 with a 43.3% Hard Hit%. He allowed 20 HRs to RHH in 2025. He will face eight RHH in this Astros lineup, with the one LHH being Yordan Alvarez.

Ozzie Albies, 2B - ATL ($4.2K DK/$2.9K FD)
Ozzie Albies is a tremendous value today in a great matchup against Yusei Kikuchi. In 2025, Kikuchi allowed RHH to slash .264/.336/.445 with 23 HRs. Albies is red hot against southpaws to start 2026, slashing .385/.385/.615 with a 1.000 OPS.
