We have a massive 12-game slate on both sites tonight. You know it's summer when we have multiple spots with elite hitting conditions. With that being said, it is a tough slate for pitching, so we need to start our lineups there to secure as many points as we can tonight.
If you have not had a chance to check out my model, I will refer to it throughout this article. To get a better sense of where I am, not only on today's slate but on every slate, please give it a look. My plays are solely based on numbers, and this model is the brain behind the operation. I have also created a hitter model that is not public, but I will reference it in this article.

Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Reid Detmers, SP - ARI ($8.7K DK/$9.8K FD)
Reid Detmers stands out like a sore thumb tonight as the undeniable SP1. He will square off against the Arizona Diamondbacks on the road at Chase Field, where the roof will be closed. The matchup is average at best, which should give you a sense of the landscape of starting pitching tonight.
Detmers has been in tremendous form. He has pitched to a 2.75 xFIP, 37.3% K%, 0.76 WHIP, and a 0.85 HR/9 over the last 30 days. The Diamondbacks have a .647 OPS and a 76 wRC+ against southpaws over the last 14 days. There is not a lot of ceiling here for strikeouts, but I think the floor is exceptional for Detmers, and on tonight's slate, that is all I need.

Colorado Rockies (Model-Projected IRT of 5.4 runs) vs. Edward Cabrera
Just like yesterday, we have elite hitting conditions at Wrigley Field tonight with the wind blowing out at 10+ mph. This time, we get the Rockies in a matchup with their positive split against righty Edward Cabrera. Most will lean to the Cubs in this spot, but the Rockies are my top stack on the slate.
The Cubs are red hot against RHP. They have a .983 OPS and a 155 wRC+ against the split over the last 14 days. Cabrera has struggled over the last month, allowing a 4.72 xFIP, 1.30 WHIP, 2.45 HR/9, 51.7% FB%, and a 37.8% Hard Hit%.
The Rockies have a 5.4 implied run total in my model tonight. With the amount of hard-hit balls in the air Cabrera is allowing and the hitting conditions, I would not be surprised to see them soar past that number.

Juan Soto, OF - NYM ($5.8K DK/$3.9K FD)
Soto has struggled a bit as of late, but this is a perfect get-right spot for him in an elite matchup and ballpark. He has a .425 wOBA, .291 ISO, and a 1.017 OPS against RHP this season. Brady Singer has allowed a .429 wOBA, .236 ISO, and a 1.033 OPS to LHH this season. Soto will get a major park upgrade tonight at Great American Ballpark. He leaves the yard tonight.
