MLB Home Run Player Prop Bets Today: Best Hitter HR Props (5/22/2026)

Corbin Carroll - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB News, Draft Kit

Zach's best MLB player prop bets for today (5/22/2026). Bet his home run props (HR props) and win money betting on MLB player props, including Munetaka Murakami, Corbin Carroll, and others!

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Major League Baseball is ready to get the Memorial Day weekend celebration started with a fun Friday slate of games. All 30 teams are in action on Friday with a Wrigley matinee and 14 games under the lights. After two of my picks went yard on Wednesday, with long balls from Juan Soto and Ketel Marte, Koby kept the dinger party rolling with an inside-the-park homer from Brandon Lowe.  Hopefully, the hits keep coming as we roll into the weekend!

In this article, I'll focus on four home run spots that I think are strong plays this Friday night from across Major League Baseball. Make sure to check out the RotoBaller Discord, where you can find input from all our experts, which could include more home run spots as well as some great strikeout picks!

Below, you'll be able to read about my favorite home run props from MLB games on Friday, May 22, 2026. The current odds given reflect the best price as of the time of publication, but remember to always shop around at other sportsbooks so you can get the most value on your home run wagers. Odds can vary significantly from one sportsbook to another.

MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (5/22/2026)

Munetaka Murakami OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+449, Novig)

Let's start out with a play for one of the late games. The slugging White Sox are starting a series by the Bay against the Giants on Friday night in one of the few places where the wind is forecast to be blowing out. Munetaka Murakami has already made a huge impact in his 49 games with the White Sox and is in a great spot to keep rolling on Friday night.

Murakami has 17 homers on the season with a .308 ISO and .401 wOBA. He has a 58.7% hard-hit rate and 21.2% barrel rate that each rank in the top six in the MLB, putting him right in the mix with all the other elite home run mashers. He has good short-term form after going 8-for-22 (.364) in his last two series with a pair of homers, although he didn't go yard in Seattle in the first stop on this trip. His most recent dinger came last Saturday against the Cubs, when he hit two homers:

Murakami will take on Giants righty Trevor McDonald on Friday, who has been very solid overall with a 2.37 ERA in his first three starts, but he has allowed two homers to lefties, who have a 40.9% hard-hit rate and .400 wOBA against him in his small, 19-inning sample size.

The White Sox have an exciting young lineup with plenty of power, and the 26-year-old Murakami is a strong play in this matchup as he looks to continue his successful transition to the MLB.

Corbin Carroll OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+456, Kalshi)

Carroll and the Diamondbacks are hosting the Rockies this weekend, and they took the first game of the series on Thursday night, 2-1. Carroll was the hero with the walk-off single in that victory, and more offense should be on the menu this Friday, since the Snakes will be in a great spot against Tomoyuki Sugano.

While Sugano is 4-3 with a 4.02 ERA in nine starts, he has struggled against lefties for a second straight season. In his first MLB campaign last year, lefties hit 20 of the 33 homers he allowed in 30 games. This season, he has served up nine homers in nine games, and lefties have six of those long balls. Lefties have an 18.1% barrel rate against Sugano this season with a .306 ISO and an average exit velocity of 91.5 mph.

Carroll has seven homers on the season, including four in his last 20 games. He's still behind his pace from last year, when he set a personal best with 31 homers, but his metrics have been trending up. Over those 20 games, he has a 58.6% hard-hit rate, 17.2% barrel rate, and a .412 wOBA.

His last home run came last Sunday against the Rockies, when he had a pair of dingers to close out his trip to Coors Field:
