Yuli Gurriel Stays Hot
5 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel went 2-for-4 in the Astros 9-6 loss to the Angels on Monday. Gurriel has been a streaming darling over the last 16 games, hitting .393 with 11 home runs and 23 runs batted in. The multi-hit effort on Monday now has the 35-year-old slashing .405/.457/1.000 in the month of July with 18 runs batted in over his last 10 games played. It is hard to foresee Gurriel keeping this sudden streak of power for too much longer but is a talented enough hitter that he needs to be added to rosters in all fantasy formats right now.
