The New York Mets are reportedly preparing to announce that outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (foot) will be placed on the disabled list. Immediately after being activated earlier this week, Cespedes told reporters how he has a heel issue that could keep him out of action long-term. According to the New York Post's Mike Puma, Cespedes is leaning towards getting the season-ending surgery to fix the problem. While this surgery could have him back in time for the 2019 season, it looks as if Cespedes' 2018 season is over. It'll be a major blow to both the Mets and fantasy owners alike.--Dan Fappiano
