Yankees Still Considering Bryan Reynolds
2 years agoThe New York Yankees are among teams consistently interested in Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds, who has requested to be traded this offseason. However, one interested team's executive summed up Pittsburgh's requests for Reynolds as "unrealistic asks." The Pirates aren't very interested in moving Reynolds after offering over $75 million for six years with no team options to the outfielder. They remain very interested in keeping him and would presumably like to resume contract talks. A trade for Reynolds may not happen anytime soon, but there could be some movement closer to spring training if Pittsburgh's asking price comes down. The Yankees are still in need of another outfielder, and a move to the Bronx for Reynolds would significantly increase his fantasy appeal.
