Yankees Recall Jasson Dominguez From Triple-A
1 month agoThe New York Yankees recalled outfield prospect Jasson Dominguez from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday and also placed infielder DJ LeMahieu (hip) on the 10-day injured list with a right-hip impingement. The Yankees also reinstated infielder Jon Berti (calf) from the 60-day IL and designated left-hander Anthony Misiewicz for assignment. Dominguez, the club's top prospect, is starting in center field on Monday and is batting sixth against Kansas City Royals right-hander Brady Singer in the Bronx. The Yankees recently said that the 21-year-old wouldn't come back to the big leagues unless he was going to play regularly, so the Martian should play every day down the stretch for the Bombers. Injuries have been the story of his 2024 season after he recovered from Tommy John surgery, but now that Dominguez is in majors to stay, he should be rostered in all fantasy formats.
