11/6:The New York Yankees requested medicals on free-agent pitchers Charlie Morton, Daniel Hudson and David Phelps. Morton is by far the most notable of the group after going 15-3 with a 3.13 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and career-high 10.8 K/9 over 30 starts this year. He's 34 years old, though, and dealt with arm issues down the stretch. Daniel Hudson's season was also cut short with the Dodgers due to injury, while Phelps missed all of 2018 after having Tommy John surgery. The rotation and bullpen are two of the Yankees most pressing needs this winter.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
