8/3:Cleveland Indians catcher Yan Gomes (knee) was pulled from the game on Friday for "precautionary" reasons due to right knee pain. Gomes had a double and scored a run Friday before leaving the game. He's been Cleveland's main catcher this year and is hitting .243 with 11 home runs and 35 RBI. It doesn't sound like his injury is too serious, so he might only sit out for a game or two. Expect Roberto Perez to fill in behind the plate for however long Gomes might be out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
