Willy Adames Homers in Three-Hit Performance on Wednesday
Willy Adames was at it again at Coors Field on Wednesday night in his team's 10-7 win over the division-rival Colorado Rockies. Adames finished the contest 3-for-4 with his seventh home run of the season, a double, three runs scored and three RBI. His home run was a two-run shot in the first inning off left-hander Kyle Freeland. The 29-year-old entered Wednesday's game hitting under .200 with just two hits in the month of June, but he's now homered in back-to-back games and could be turning things around at the plate as the weather warms. So far, Adames has been a massive disappointment after signing a seven-year, $182 million deal. It's been a nice two games in Colorado for Adames, but his xBA of just .203 doesn't exactly lead us to believe that a massive turnaround is on the horizon.
