Willie Snead Signs Offer Sheet With Ravens
7 years agoNew Orleans Saints restricted free-agent wide receiver Willie Snead is signing a two-year offer sheet on Friday with the Baltimore Ravens that is worth up to $10.4 million, according to a source. The Saints now have five days to match it, but they are unlikely to do so after recently signing Cameron Meredith and re-signing Brandon Coleman. Snead opened up last year serving a suspension and never really become a part of the offense, catching just eight passes for 92 yards and no touchdowns in 11 games. Baltimore also added Michael Crabtree and John Brown in free agency this offseason, but Snead could have a role out of the slot. Still, Snead's fantasy ceiling will be low moving from a future Hall of Fame quarterback to Joe Flacco.
