William Byron is making his third start at Charlotte on Sunday. In two starts at the track, Byron has one top-10 finish, which was a finish of ninth place last year. He also led 31 laps, which was fifth-most of all drivers last year at Charlotte. Hendrick Motorsports improved their equipment greatly this year for 1.5-mile intermediate tracks, and Byron has shown better speeds in comparison to most others this season.
