William Byron A DFS Pivot At Charlotte Roval
2 months agoWilliam Byron is a solid DraftKings pick this weekend at the Charlotte Roval, but there is a good chance that DFS players are going to overlook him when building their lineups for Sunday's Bank of America Roval 400. Don't make that mistake. With Shane van Gisbergen and AJ Allmendinger (as well as Kyle Larson for that matter) priced higher than Byron this weekend, many DraftKings players will likely gravitate toward the Kaulig Racing drivers and then look elsewhere to fill out the rest of their lineup. However, Byron has a legitimate shot to win this race. The No. 24 Chevrolet had the best 10-lap average during practice on Saturday, and Byron was the runner-up finisher here at the Charlotte Roval last season. Additionally, Willy B went to victory lane at COTA earlier this year (another road course race). At $9,800 on DraftKings, Byron is definitely worth consideration this weekend, as he presents the combination of Place Differential upside (he qualified 10th) as well as race-winning potential.
