Wil Lutz Misses Both Field-Goal Attempts In Two-Point Loss
4 weeks agoDenver Broncos kicker Wil Lutz was an absolute dud for any fantasy managers that streamed him in the team's 16-14 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10. Lutz made both of his extra-point attempts but couldn't come through on either of his two field-goal tries, with one being a miss from 60 yards out at the end of the first quarter, and the other being a blocked attempt from 35 yards out that would have given the Chiefs their first loss of the year. We warned fantasy managers that Lutz was extra risky against KC's stingy defense, especially on the road in a hostile environment. The 30-year-old still ranks as the No. 12 kicker in fantasy points through 10 weeks, though, and is tied for sixth among all kickers with 18 FGs made in 2024. His 21 field-goal attempts are also tied for sixth in the league. Lutz could bounce back in Week 11 versus the Atlanta Falcons.
