1 year agoThe Chicago White Sox called up rookie outfielder Oscar Colas from Triple-A Charlotte on Monday, according to sources. He will join the team on Tuesday for the start of a series against the Toronto Blue Jays. The White Sox's No. 2 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, will get another shot in the big leagues after going off for Charlotte at the plate recently. Overall, he hit .293 (56-for-191) with nine homers, 14 doubles, 29 RBI and 35 runs scored in 48 games after going just 16-for-76 (.211) with a homer and seven RBI in his first 25 major-league contests earlier this year. The 24-year-old left-handed hitter should play regularly in right field for the Pale Hose now that he's back, at least when the team faces a right-hander on the mound. Colas has above-average raw power and should be scooped up off the waiver wire, at least in deep-mixed fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
