What To Do With Alex Bowman This Weekend At New Hampshire?
6 months agoAfter finishing ninth in Saturday's Xfinity race, Alex Bowman will look to build off this momentum when he starts fifth in Sunday's USA Today 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Despite having 10 top-10 finishes this season, including last week at Iowa, Bowman is still looking for his first victory since 2022. Considering how consistent he has been all season, and given the strength of his team, it likely won't be long till the 31-year-old is back in victory lane. With that said, while a win is likely on the horizon for the Hendrick Motorsports star, do not expect it to happen this weekend at Loudon. In 12 Cup starts in the Granite State, Bowman has just one top-10, two DNFs, and his average finish of 23.4 ranks him 25th among full-time drivers in the series. Because he does have three appearances in the DraftKings optimal lineup this season, including two in the aerodynamic package that will be used in Sunday's race, you do not want to fade Bowman completely in DFS this weekend. Instead, it is recommended that you limit your exposure to a max of 5%-10% of your lineup builds, as this is the best way to balance his elite-level skill with the struggles he has experienced at this track.
