What Should You Do With William Byron This Weekend At Indianapolis?
5 months agoFresh off back-to-back top-10 finishes, William Byron will look to continue this momentum on Sunday afternoon when he starts fourth in the Brickyard 400 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Despite having just three Cup starts on the oval configuration at Indianapolis, Byron is certainly a contender to win this Sunday. Not only does he have a Xfinity win here (2017) but he had the ninth best time in Saturday's practice (49.854), which was only .561 slower than practice leader, Tyler Reddick. Given that he is in the midst of a career season, and that he has fifth best odds on DraftKings Sportsbook to win this weekend (+800), the Hendrick Motorsports star is expected to have big day on Sunday. With that said, while it is expected that the 26-year-old will have a strong outing this weekend in Indy, we do need to temper our expectations for him in DFS. Considering he is starting so high in this race, the seven-year Cup veteran will have to rack up lead lap points to deliver value on his $9,000 DraftKings salary, something that may be challenging to do given the talent that is starting ahead of him in this race. Because of this, it is recommended that you limit your exposure (max 5% of lineup builds) to the No. 24 in DFS this weekend.
