Wesley Matthews’ Absence Headlines LA's Injury Report Tuesday

Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Wesley Matthews (Achilles) has been deemed out for Tuesday's game versus Houston as he battles a sore right Achilles, marking his second straight absence. Also finding their way onto the injury report are LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Davis (adductor), although their placement seems cursory as they remain perpetually banged up. James is yet to miss a game this year, while Davis was able to suit up Sunday. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope returned in the team's last game and has earned a probable tag of his own, although he'll likely be among the starting five once again. Talen Horton-Tucker figures to be the largest beneficiary of Matthews' absence, with the veteran's next chance to play coming Wednesday against the Thunder.
