Wandy Peralta Notches Rare Save
2 years agoNew York Yankees left-handed pitcher Wandy Peralta got the final four outs of the team's 4-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, securing his fourth save of the season. Peralta allowed just one baserunner, a walk, and had no strikeouts. It was a nice bounce-back for Peralta, as he had just allowed two runs the day prior without recording an out. The save was the lefty's first since April 16, and it's hard to say if he is likely to get more opportunities given the way the Yankees use their bullpen. He should see some chances, but they certainly have other options they aren't afraid to go to. In deeper leagues Peralta should be rostered for the chance he gets a few saves, but outside of that and saves plus holds leagues, he can be left to waivers.
