2 years agoKansas City Royals first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino (shoulder) left the game early on Friday night against the Baltimore Orioles with right-shoulder discomfort. Fantasy managers will want to check back after the Royals update the 25-year-old's status either after Friday's game or early on Saturday. Consider him to be day-to-day until further notice. Before leaving, Pasquantino went 0-for-3 to drop his season average to .247. He was replaced at first base by Matt Duffy. The power-hitting left-handed hitter entered Friday's contest hitting .250 (57-for-228) with 17 doubles, nine home runs, 26 RBI and 24 runs in 60 games in his second MLB season.
