Vinnie Pasquantino Suffers Injury Friday
Vinnie Pasquantino (shoulder) left the game early on Friday night against the Baltimore Orioles with right-shoulder discomfort. Fantasy managers will want to check back after the Royals update the 25-year-old's status either after Friday's game or early on Saturday. Consider him to be day-to-day until further notice. Before leaving, Pasquantino went 0-for-3 to drop his season average to .247. He was replaced at first base by Matt Duffy. The power-hitting left-handed hitter entered Friday's contest hitting .250 (57-for-228) with 17 doubles, nine home runs, 26 RBI and 24 runs in 60 games in his second MLB season. He's really struggled early on in June, with just one hit so far in 21 at-bats.
