Vince Williams Jr. Does Little Bit Of Everything For Grizzlies Friday
1 year agoMemphis Grizzlies shooting guard Vince Williams Jr. had a very busy 20 minutes against the Lakers on Friday, bagging an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double and recording three assists, two steals, and one block. Williams Jr. finished with 3-for-7 shooting and had two makes from downtown with five attempts. Memphis dominated the contest from start to finish and the minutes were pretty evenly shared among all Grizzlies players, but that didn't keep Williams Jr. from producing a full line. The second-round draft pick faces a big challenge in trying to force himself into Memphis' plans for the new NBA season, but he has played well this summer, averaging 13.8 points with 42.3 percent shooting from deep and tallying 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals.
