Detroit Red Wings goaltender Ville Husso (lower body) has been loaded to the American Hockey League's Grand Rapids Griffins for a conditioning stint. The 29-year-old has been limited to just 19 games with the Red Wings this season due to lower-body injuries. He suffered an original lower-body injury in a Dec. 18 contest against the Ducks, forcing him out until Feb. 13. The former St. Louis Blues netminder struggled to a 3.55 goals-against average and an .892 save percentage in the NHL this season while Alex Lyon has taken over the crease in Husso's absence.--Brenton Kemp
