8 months agoAfter Wednesday's 4-2 win against the Baltimore Orioles, the Detroit Tigers optioned outfielder Victor Reyes to Triple-A to make room for starting pitcher Spencer Turnbull to return from the bereavement list. Turnbull will start the Tigers next game on Friday in Atlanta. Turnbull has quietly had a solid season for the Tigers, sporting a 2.97 ERA with 62 K's in 60 2/3 innings. He's worth an add in 12-team or deeper leagues as well as AL-only leagues for anyone who needs pitching depth. Reyes, on the other hand, barely sniffed the majors this go around and can be fully ignored.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
