Colorado Avalanche forward Valeri Nichushkin scored a goal in Friday night's win over New Jersey, giving him his sixth goal of the season and third in the last four games. Nichushkin is now on a four-game point streak, the longest of his NHL career, and has recorded eight points in his last 10 games. After scoring his first goal of the season three weeks ago, it seems like something may have finally clicked offensively for the big-bodied forward. After putting up 34 points in his rookie season, Nichushkin has failed to reach that mark in any other season, though his recent streak now has him on pace to challenge it. Not a lock to consistently put up productive numbers for fantasy, he does make a very intriguing streaming option, as he is already seeing some power-play usage and will be given an opportunity to provide the secondary scoring Colorado needed coming into the season.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
