Tyler Saladino Hits Another Home Run; Could Get Starts At Shortstop

Milwaukee Brewers infielder Tyler Saladino went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI, and a run in the 9-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Saladino was acquired at the beginning of May from the Chicago White Sox for cash, and so far, has been a fantastic addition for the Brewers. In 21 at-bats, Saladino has a .429 batting average with five runs, three home runs, six RBI and a 1.360 OPS with the Brewers this season. With Orlando Arcia still struggling to get his hitting together, it wouldn't come as a surprise to see Tyler Saladino get some starts in return for how great he has played. Fantasy players should keep an eye out on Saladino, as if he continues to hit at an MLB productive level and starts at SS, he could draw some nice value on one of the MLB's best teams. For now, he remains a hot bench player that shouldn't be owned until he can get some starts.
