Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers will miss two to four weeks with a lower-body injury, head coach Bruce Boudreau announced on Friday. The big blue-liner recorded his third 82-game season in 2021-22 but will unfortunately miss some time right from the off in the new campaign. Myers notched only 18 points last season, but he was a major force on the defensive end with 148 blocks and 145 hits, which are both his career-high marks. He produced a solid plus-15 rating, and Quinn Hughes and Oliver Ekman-Larsson were the only skaters on the team to average more ice time than him. The two are set to be even busier with Myers missing.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
