Former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett announced on X that he is "excited to be a Tennessee Titan!!" Terms of Lockett's deal with Tennessee are unknown. After a career year from Jaxon-Smith Njigba in Seattle in his second season in the league in 2024, the Seahawks deemed the 32-year-old Lockett to be expendable after he caught 49 of his 74 targets for only 600 yards and two touchdowns in 14 starts. Lockett's 600 yards and two touchdowns were his lowest totals in a single season since his third year in the league in 2017. He's no longer the same wideout he was that posted four straight 1,000-yard seasons from 2019-22, but he could wind up being the Titans' No. 2 pass-catcher behind Calvin Ridley in 2025. Lockett will most likely be working with rookie quarterback Cam Ward, who is fully expected to be taken at No. 1 overall in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. UPDATE: Lockett signed a one-year, $4 million deal.--Keith Hernandez
