Tyler Lockett Catches One Pass, Wins Game
5 years agoPerhaps he didn't truly "win" the entire game for the team, but Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett did score the winning touchdown in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Bengals. Lockett was silent for the entire game until he got behind the defense late in Seattle's Week 1 game, and quarterback Russell Wilson hit him from 44 yards out for the score. Lockett's lack of usage is a little bit concerning since he's always kind of played second fiddle to other receivers in Seattle's corps, and he has a tendency to be very touchdown-dependent for fantasy value. However, he and Wilson seem to have some kind of sixth sense that allows Wilson to just know when Lockett's going to sneak by the DBs and be there for the big bomb when they need it. Owners should fret too much just yet, but there's a chance that Lockett's big break to be the primary guy may not be as big a chance as previously thought.
