Tampa Bay Lightning center Tyler Johnson was skating on the top line with Nikita Kucherov and J.T. Miller on Monday morning. Steven Stamkos will not play Monday night, which has opened the top-line center spot for Johnson. The Lightning are playing at home against the Arizona Coyotes before playing back-to-back road games later in the week, so this is likely just an opportunity to get Stamkos some rest as the season winds down. Johnson has only scored one point in his last six games, but playing alongside Kucherov should provide a great chance to improve on those numbers, even if only for a night.
