Tyler Higbee Makes Two Catches, Briefly Leaves Game
2 years agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee caught two passes for 15 yards in the Rams' 14-31 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. His snap rate has decreased from over 90% in the first five games of the season to 78% in Week 6 and approximately 70% this week. He had to head to the locker room after suffering a neck injury on a first down catch during the Rams' first quarter scoring drive. He came back at the beginning of the second quarter. After a productive start to the season driven by a massive target share, Higbee has only made three catches in the last two games. Both games have featured relatively more productive showings from Rams WR Allen Robinson II. If Higbee has a larger role in the Rams offense when the Rams secondary WR isn't making anything happen, then the apparent emergence of Robinson might not be good for his fantasy value.
