Tyler Conklin, Others Have Contracts Restructured By The Jets
Tyler Conklin, cornerback D.J. Reed, and offensive guard Laken Tomlinson agreed to have their contracts restructured by the Jets. Conklin, who inked a three-year deal with New York in March 2022, had three touchdowns last season. Tomlinson is still considered one of the best at the position, while Reed ended the 2022-23 campaign with a career-high 80 total tackles. The Jets also reworked the deals of C.J. Uzomah and Braxton Berrios, saving the team more than $23 million against the cap. With that said, although none of these players are suitable fantasy options, it opens up a more straightforward path for the franchise to bring in Aaron Rodgers.
