Tyler Boyd Ruled Out Against Texans
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 16 against the Texans. Boyd suffered a concussion on Monday night against the Steelers and couldn't get cleared from the league's protocols in order to play this Sunday. Houston's secondary is a great matchup for opposing passing games, but it'll still be hard to trust any of the Bengals pass-catchers given their quarterback situation between Brandon Allen and Ryan Finley. Explosive rookie Tee Higgins should be the team's top receiver and has some WR3 upside, but veteran A.J. Green is more of a risky WR4/5 for those with not many other options. Alex Erickson or Mike Thomas could be Cincy's No. 3 wideout against the Texans.
