Ty Gibbs was not able to get in a lap in the final round of qualifying, but earlier in the sessions, he turned in a time of 53.026 seconds, which would have been good enough for a pole position. The 23XI Racing driver was quite fast in the first two turns of the high-banking. Even in the tri-oval, Gibbs showed more downforce than expected.
