Ty France Placed On Paternity List
8 months agoThe Seattle Mariners placed first baseman Ty France on the paternity list on Friday and called up infielder Samad Taylor from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move. France will miss the weekend series against the Milwaukee Brewers but should be back early next week to take on the Blue Jays in Toronto. Seattle's starting lineup against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday night has yet to be posted, but either Luke Raley or Dylan Moore are the primary candidates to start at first base for the team with France away from the team this weekend. The 29-year-old France has looked good in the early going for Seattle this year, going 8-for-25 (.320) with a double, RBI and three runs scored in 27 plate appearances over his first seven games. Fantasy managers need to remove him from their lineups this weekend.
