Two Power-Play Helpers for Kevin Labanc Against Canucks
6 years agoSan Jose forward Kevin Labanc picked up two assists on Friday, both coming on the power play, as the Sharks dominated the visiting Canucks. Labanc now has 15 points in 23 games this season, and five power-play points, but his usage on the top power-play unit is the headline here. Labanc led all San Jose players in power-play ice time with 5:39 minutes and picked up points on two of their three power-play goals on Friday. He only recorded one shot in the contest though, bringing his season average to an underwhelming 2.13 shots per game, but Labanc's value will primarily come from his assists and power-play production. Not a must own in any format, Labanc provides intriguing streaming upside in the right matchups.
