7 years agoBoston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask (lower body) will start on Thursday night against the Philadelphia Flyers. Rask has not played in two games, being held out of the lineup with a “minor” injury that may have been sustained earlier in the season. Philadelphia has gone 6-4 in their last 10 games, winning six straight matches and then dropping their last four. This could be a favorable matchup for Rask and the Bruins depending on which version of the Flyers show up. This season, Rask has maintained a 26-11-4 record with a 2.27 goals-against average and .919 save percentage. Expect Rask to receive a few nights off through the end of the regular season as the Bruins attempt to rest the elite goaltender as they prepare for the playoffs.--Alex McKenzie
