Tuukka Rask Backstops B's To Win In Cup Opener
6 years agoBoston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask allowed two goals on 20 shots in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday night against the St. Louis Blues. Rask was dinged for goals from center Brayden Schenn and right wing Vladimir Tarasenko to take a 2-0 lead and quiet the raucous Boston crowd. However, the B's offense came alive and ran off four consecutive goals to give Rask and the home side a victory in the opening game of the series. They're just three victories away from hoisting Lord Stanley's Cup, and if they do so Rask has made a very strong case for Conn Smythe honors.
