Tua Tagovailoa Will Try to Tame the Panthers Without Tyreek Hill
Tua Tagovailoa will look to build on Monday night's first win of the season, as his team visits the Panthers in Carolina in Week 5. Tua completed 17-of-25 passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns on Monday and now has exactly two touchdown passes in three straight weeks. Tua connected with tight end Darren Waller on both his touchdowns against the Jets, but he unfortunately lost top receiver Tyreek Hill (knee) to a brutal, season-ending injury. So far this season, Tagvailoa has not taken deep shots or racked up big yardage, but his touchdown passes and a generally favorable matchup keep him on the radar as a QB2 this week. He's No. 20 in RotoBaller's Week 5 rankings, so he's startable in two-quarterback leagues or very deep leagues if bye weeks are stretching you thin at the position.
