Treylon Burks Added to Washington's Active Roster
The Washington Commanders are signing wide receiver Treylon Burks to their active 53-man roster on Tuesday, a source told Ben Standig. Burks will return to the active roster after making his 2025 debut with the Commanders in the Sunday night loss to the Seattle Seahawks, where he played 51% of the offensive snaps and caught his only target for a gain of 14 yards. The 25-year-old former first-round pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2022 out of Arkansas will have an opportunity for an expanded role moving forward, with Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) unlikely to play in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions, and with Luke McCaffrey (collarbone) potentially out for the year. Still, fantasy managers should temper expectations for Burks, as the Commanders could be without starting quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow) for the rest of the year, too. In three seasons in Tennessee, Burks was injured more often than not while posting a 53-699-1 line in 27 games (17 starts).
