2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance is finally healthy this offseason after rehabbing from both an ankle and finger injury last year, and he seemed to deliver the football with a tighter spiral while using a more efficient wind-up and release during organized team activities this week. Lance got the first crack at reps on the field on Tuesday, but Sam Darnold and Brandon Allen will get their chances as well. The 23-year-old former first-round pick hasn't really gotten a fair opportunity to prove he's the guy because of injuries, and Brock Purdy's (elbow) excellent rookie season has vaulted him into starter status entering 2023. The 49ers remain high on Lance, but unless Purdy isn't ready to go by Week 1, he'll be riding the pine in San Fran.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
