Trevor Story 2021 Fantasy Outlook: A Second-Round Steal?
4 years agoIt was the same old story for Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story in 2020. He produced right below a 30/30 pace and came in with another strong batting average. He remains a five-category stud and is still in the prime years of his career at age 28. While some hitters slow down in the running game as they age, Story appears to be doing the opposite, attempting steals at a career-high rate in 2020. He also posted career-bests in strikeout rate (24.3%) and walk rate (9.3%). There are no signs of the fantasy glory fading for Story, and for whatever reason, he has a tendency to fall towards the third round in drafts with an ADP of 11.3 with a maximum of 18. Story is a first-round talent that you can draft with your second pick.
