4 years agoDetails released on San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams' reworked contract revealed that a condition of the deal prevents Williams from being franchise tagged after this season. The two sides have been working on coming to a long-term agreement, and this caveat should help motivate the team to get the job done. The 31-year-old is a seven-time Pro Bowler and is widely considered one of the best left tackles in the game.
