Trea Turner Swipes A Bag In Thursday's Loss
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Trea Turner went 1-for-4 with a run scored, a stolen base, and two strikeouts in a 4-2 loss to the New York Mets on Thursday. Turner and the Phillies didn't have much going on offense in this one as they mustered just six hits as a club. The 29-year-old did manage to steal his eighth base of the season and score a run, though. The lone hit snaps an 0-for-11 for Turner and gets his June off to a decent start after a lackluster May in which he hit just .208 with a .625 OPS. Overall, he's slashing just .236/.279/.369 to go along with five home runs, 15 RBI, and eight stolen bases over 233 at-bats.
