Trayveon Williams Could Have Key Role In 2023
2 years agoDuring post-draft press conferences, Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor and offensive coordinator Brian Callahan repeatedly brought up running back Trayveon Williams when asked about Samaje Perine's replacement this year. Williams re-signed a one-year deal with the Bengals in March, and with Joe Mixon's tenuous situation, he could have a sizeable role in 2023 in a potent Bengals offense. Cincinnati also has Chris Evans and rookie Chase Brown at the position. Williams has averaged 5.1 yards per carry on 47 rushing attempts in the last three years and could be worth handcuffing to Mixon in fantasy drafts this fall. The 25-year-old is certainly one to watch this summer.
