Washington Nationals right-handed pitching prospect Travis Sykora tossed six shutout innings en route to picking up the victory over High-A Hudson Valley on Tuesday evening. In this contest, Sykora allowed just two hits and two walks. He struck out eight. Since earning the call to High-A earlier this season, Sykora has been nothing short of impressive, logging 29 2/3 innings to the tune of a 1.21 ERA and a 0.67 WHIP. During this stint, Sykora has struck out an impressive 47 batters while allowing just eight free passes. Sykora opened the campaign with Low-A and needed just two starts to prove he was ready to join High-A. With Low-A, Sykora logged a shutout inning with a 9:2 K:BB. Given his impressive start to the season, dynasty managers should expect Sykora to continue to climb prospect boards.--Andy Smith
