Travis Bazzana Smacks Three Doubles on Tuesday
Travis Bazzana went 3-for-3 for Double-A Akron on Tuesday, doubling three times and drawing a walk in the contest. The Guardians' top-ranked prospect drove in one run and scored twice as well. He's now 6-for-12 (.500) in the three games since coming off the injured list. The 22-year-old missed almost two months with a right oblique strain, but clearly looks fully recovered after this most recent performance. For the season, the first overall pick from the 2024 MLB Draft is hitting .253 with five home runs and a strong .375 OBP thanks to a high 14.7 percent walk rate in 42 games played, chipping in nine steals along the way. Look for him to make a push for the majors in 2026.
