Travis Bazzana Extends On-Base Streak to 15 Games
Travis Bazzana has continued his impressive run at Double-A with another strong showing on Wednesday evening. Facing Double-A Harrisburg, the former first overall pick went 1-for-4 with a walk. This extended his current on-base streak at the Double-A level to 15 games. During this stretch, the Oregon State product has posted a remarkable .345/.446/.582 slash line with seven doubles, two home runs, five stolen bases, and a 15:9 K:BB. Over his last four games, since returning from the injured list, Bazzana has been swinging an awfully hot bat, posting a .438/.500/.625 line with three doubles. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his production as he could be in the mix to join Triple-A later this season. Even though injuries have limited him in his first full professional campaign, he should continue to be viewed as a high-end dynasty asset.
